Jingyao received his B.E. in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology in 2021 and his M.S. degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in 2023. During his undergraduate research, he developed new biomaterials to promote peripheral nerve regeneration. In Mao Lab, his research focuses on optimization of new lipid nanoparticles to encapsulate plasmid DNA and mRNA to treat different diseases. Outside the lab, Jingyao has a passion in cooking, particularly cold dishes and braised food.
