Postdoc Fellow

Postdoctoral Fellow, Institute for NanoBioTechnology

Chi received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2014 and Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2019 from Sun Yat-sen University.  During her PhD study, she conducted research in Johns Hopkins University for two years.  Her prior research covers development of ECM-derived scaffolds with biophysical and biochemical cues for the treatment of spinal cord injury, using multimodal strategies to enhance neural protection and regeneration.  In Mao Lab, her research focuses on revealing chemical mechanism of interfacial bonding between nanofiber-hydrogel composites and application of these novel matrix to reduce tissue fibrosis.
