Christine Wei Receives NSF GRFP Fellowship


Mao Lab’s 2022 NSF REU intern Christine Wei received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) Fellowship.

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) is a prestigious grant awarded annually by the National Science Foundation to approximately 2,000 students pursuing research-based Master’s and doctoral degrees in the natural, social, and engineering sciences at US institutions. GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding students who have demonstrated the potential to be high achieving scientists and engineers, early in their careers. The five-year fellowship provides three years of financial support inclusive of an annual stipend of $37,000.
