Xiuchun received his B.Eng. in Bioengineering from Dalian University of Technology. He is currently a graduate student in Biomedical Engineering. In the Mao lab, Xiuchun is conducting research on LNP-based platforms to develop cell-based immunotherapies for B cells, utilizing ML-guided high-throughput screening to optimize lipid nanoformulations. This work leverages his previous experience in mRNA-selective protein regulation, CRISPR-based genome engineering, and synthetic biology. In his free time, he enjoys long-distance running and photography.
