Ph.D. Candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, Whiting School of Engineering

Chris Erb is a Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine. Before joining Dr. Mao’s lab, Chris spent a year at Brookhaven National Laboratory as part of Dr. Oleg Gang’s Soft and Bio Nanomaterials research group. Chris’ current research focuses on engineering biomaterials for peripheral nerve repair. He is a recipient of the Percy Pierre Doctoral Fellowship at Johns Hopkins.
